The WebUI is fully responsive and mobile friendly and offers full visibility of the heaters CORE temperature. This allows for much finer tuning and control. Additionally it offers schedules, heater profiles and multiple sensors. A full list of features can be found below.

Decimal Accuracy Core Temperature

Allows monitoring the heaters core temperature down to .1 of a degree. This allows for easier tuning, finer tuning and better startup monitoring. During startup, you should instantly see the core temperature rise to indicate a successful start. Tuning guides can be found in the documentation.

Temperature can be configured in Calculus and Fahrenheit.

Auto Tune

Auto tune will run through a list of default settings until a successful ignition is detected and save these setting in a new Profile. This makes it easy to find the correct Fan Speed, Pump Rate and Glow times for your heater. Fine tuning to the profile can then be done from this newly created profile giving a solid base profile to work from.

Heater Schedules

Set schedules to start and stop the heater. Schedules are flexible and different target temperatures can be set for different schedules. Selectable by day(s) of the week, with start and end times.

Heater Profiles

Heater profiles allows for specific heater profiles, or even for testing. Profiles are used to set heater specific settings such as Prime Rate, Max Heater Core Temp, Cool Down times etc. Heater profiles come in handy for testing, or change the controller between different heaters. By default the heater ships with 5 default heater profiles pre-configured.

User Control

Password protected UI allows for restricted access as well as additional users with specific permissions for control only, adding or removing schedules etc. Fully restrict each user down to permissions that only allow basic control functions such as start and stop.

Real Time Current and Voltage Monitoring

The built in INA129 and high current SHUNT allow for high current and accurate voltage measurement. This makes troubleshooting startup issues due to power drops easy and quick.

1Wire, I2C and UART Breakouts

The 1Wire and I2C breakouts allow for adding additional sensors. Additional temperature sensors can be added for better temperature accuracy. The board also include a UART breakout which could also be used for flashing if the USB port becomes unavailable.

Please note that an external temperature sensor is required if not using the Remote LCD Display.

OTA Updates

The system supports a wide range of update methods. These include Wi-Fi OTA, Manually Binary Upload or OTA via the internet.

ESPHome Support

Full supported for ESPhome and Home assistant. ESPhome configuration can be downloaded from the resources section.

Programmable GPIO

The on board programmable GPIOs allow for flexible control and monitoring. These can be configured as Inputs or Outputs and can be configured as INPUT_PULLUP or INPUT_PULLDOWN. A total of 4 on board IOs exist. Functions include

  • Power ON / Power OFF
  • Running / Cooling
  • Fault
  • Wi-Fi Connected / Disconnected
  • Pump ON
  • Glow ON
  • Fan ON
  • And more

Event Logging

The log output logs all events from network, user access to the heater faults and RF. This makes reviewing the logs and troubleshooting easy.

On-Board Temperature and Humidity Sensor

The on board SHT3x offers a real time indication of the device temperature and humidity.

1Wire, I2C and UART breakouts

Add additional temperature sensors using either I2C or 1Wire using the breakouts shown below. An on board programmable UART is also available.

Configurable I/O

The IO breakouts allow for Input and Output functions. These are programmable from the WebUI  and can be set for events such as Power ON, Power OFF, Over temp, Fault etc. A total of 4 GPIO pins are available and can be set all Input or Output mode, PULLUP or PULLDOWN.

Selectable Thermistor Resistance & RF Support via CC1101 Transceiver

Support a wide range of heaters with the selectable thermistor resistor value. The on board CC1101 transceiver allows for RF control for Power ON, Power OFF, Temperature UP and Temperature DOWN

High Current Rated up 20A with built-in Voltage and Current Monitoring
